Can you afford to take the risks involved if you don’t really know the answer to those questions?
It is no secret there is a worldwide shortage of quality Oil and Gas / Petro-Chemical technicians; however, there are thousands of highly skilled well educated mechanical techs and machinists who for various personal or family reasons do not wish to be employed overseas on a full time basis.
They are however more than willing to work 6 -9 months per year, spending only 1-3 months at a time away from home; this situation suits the individual and also suits the requirements of our customers and the industry.

MMC select, train, retain and deploy only the best of these people, taking into consideration age, attitude, education, customer feedback, qualifications and previous experience, we also pay these guys when they are not working, in between mobilizations they attend our training centre 5 days a week to obtain further skills and training and also pass on their knowledge to newer recruits. |

Although we are looking for short to medium term mobilizations, we are also looking for long term business relationships on a very exclusive customer basis, preferred technicians or supervisors can be identified by customers, MMC are prepared to enter into contractual obligations to supply those individuals as and when required, we intend to deal only directly with very reputable service companies, EPC contractors or operators. |

MMC recently had a very positive meeting with TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) to obtain certified approval to be the first training centre of its kind in the Philippines, there is also a possibility of TESDA providing a larger training facility within their complex.
The senior management of a large Qatar based EPC contractor are visiting our operation in Manila at the end of March, with intent to discuss a future business relationship.
A Premier Service company to the global energy industry have recently approached the owners of JKR / MMC and expressed an interest in acquiring a percentage ownership, they intend to make a formal offer by the end of April 2011.
Mr. Tino Ko Managing Director commented,“The financial strength and technical back up of the company involved who are also a customer, could spring board our plans to move into bigger premises, expand the range of disciplines with the training they can provide, and also increase our workforce to around 300 by the end of 2011”. |
